The chirping of insects at night brings with it the signs of autumn…
I’d like to say this, but the lingering heat of recent years doesn’t quite match my memories of the transition between summer and autumn, and my body still hasn’t quite adapted.
That said, I do feel like the daytime heat is subsiding a bit at night.
Now, the “evening session” that started in July is held every Saturday.
Thankfully, there are some nights when the seats are filled to a reasonable extent, but there are also some lonely nights, perhaps because the restaurant is still not well known.
But either way, I feel like the evening Tanpen Shokudo shows a different side to the daytime one.
For example, you could be reading a book by yourself, or enjoying a calm chat with someone.
Of course, it’s important to let off steam by talking to someone, and even the natural silence that occurs from time to time is a normal and important part of our daily lives, I think to myself as I glance over from the kitchen.
I hope that, along with the appropriate sense of relief enveloped in the evening atmosphere, it will be a time that you will forget about by tomorrow, and that it will leave you with a pleasant aftertaste.
So, the September “Evening Sessions” are scheduled for:
September 7th (Sun), 13th (Sat), 20th (Sat), and 27th (Sat).
For the evening session, we will be offering a “Short Film Special” by reservation only (see below).
In addition to the classic chicken nanban, hamburger steak, and limited-time main dishes, we also offer a “mixed grill” featuring a hamburger steak, chicken nanban, fried shrimp, or cream croquette on one plate.
